The Winston-Salem Area Transportation Planning Organization (WSATPO) is working to get public input about local roadway, intersection, bicycle and pedestrian, transit, rail, and aviation projects to determine how to prioritize spending. From now until November 12 local residents are encouraged to voice their opinions about the proposed projects online. (This link includes the Map of proposed projects and their descriptions).
Additionally, there will be a Public Meeting about these projects and the process for funding consideration on November 4. The Public Meeting on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 will be from 4:30 – 6:30 pm at the Reynolds Manor Branch Library Auditorium (2839 Fairlawn Dr NW, Winston-Salem, NC 27106).
